Derby County boss, Wayne Rooney has opened up on his desire to become Manchester United or Everton manager now in the future.
Manchester United are still struggling in the league despite replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Ralf Rangnick some months back and Rooney who is currently doing a spectacular job under difficult circumstances at Pride Parkbelieves that United’s decision on who becomes the club’s new boss in the summer must be taken with caution.
“The decision at the end of the season, whether Rangnick stays or someone else comes, has to be the right one,” he said.
if he would take the job at Old Trafford, he said: “Everton and Manchester United are two clubs in the future that I would love to manage. I would love to go in there and challenge myself.
“They’re two great clubs. I said a couple of weeks ago in the press conference, ‘I’m doing a job at Derby and my focus has to be on that’, because it’s a day-to-day job that needs all of my attention to get the best out of myself and the players.”
