BBNaija 2020 winner Olamilekan Agbeleshebioba, aka Laycon, has continue to maintain his fame as he recently performed for the Recording Academy (Grammy) Press Play at Home programme and have released a couple of tracks.
Speaking an interview with Accelerate TV, the rapper stated that he had always known he would be successful. He said, “I have always known I would be successful. When I say ‘successful’, I want you to know that people have different metrics for measuring success. My own idea of success would probably be different from that of someone else. The yardstick that a lot of people use to measure success is different from what I use. The bottom line is that I never had doubts about my success.”
The Reality TV star also noted that he stayed home for three years in order to gain admission into the University of Lagos. He added, “I stayed home for three years and I was getting admission offers into other schools but I wanted UNILAG, because I felt it would help me as an artiste. I believed I would be exposed to more growth as an artiste there.”
On his dreams, Laycon said, “My dream is to keep growing, evolving and elevating in all areas of my life. I want to go on a world tour and perform at major international cities. I would love to do a lot musically and to feature people I don’t have access to yet. I just need to keep working hard to get there.”
