UFC middleweight champion, Isreal Adesanya, has called out archrival, Robert Whittaker, for his next title defence but wants the clash on home soil in Auckland, New Zealand.
‘The Last Stylebender’ retain his title after beating Italian Marvin Vettori via unanimous decision on Sunday at a fully parked Gila River Arena in Arizona in his third title defence.
The undisputed champion has cleared the top five fighters in the division and is on a mission to run the rules over every fighter in the category.
“You know (who I want to fight next) my nemesis, Bobby Whittaker, Bobby knuckles, I knocked him out twice before in one fight, I don’t know what is going to happen with all these COVID-19 sh*t,” Adesanya said after the fight.
“We need to run that back in Auckland, we need to run that back in my territory this time, I’ll tell you when it is, you don’t have to decide, I’m the king.”
