Olayomi Koiki, spokesperson of embattled Yoruba Nation activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has denied asking the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Adewale Akanbi or any traditional ruler to speak on his behalf.
Igboho has gone underground since operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) raided his residence in the Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State on July 1.
Oba Akanbi, in a letter addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, begged for forgiveness on behalf of Ighoho and promised to bring him to the Presidential Villa in Abuja soon for talks.
However, Igboho’s spokesman, on Facebook page, Koiki Media, on Sunday, said his principal did not ask any traditional ruler to speak on his behalf.
“Chief Sunday (Igboho) did not ask any royal father to speak on his behalf. His legal team is on his case,” Koiki wrote.
