Samsung initiates plans on two more foldable phones

Samsung, the South Korean electronics giant has a pair of new foldable handsets in the works following its unveiling of its Galaxy Fold, people who are familiar with the company’s plans told Bloomberg. One of the devices would fold outward, away from the user like the Huawei Mate X, and the other device would fold vertically.

The latter device is expected later this year or early next year, also both devices would have an in display finger print sensor.

When Samsung introduced its Galaxy Fold on February at Unpacked, it stole the show from the other four flagship phones the company announced there, including a 5G phone. Though many are intrigued by the Galaxy Fold, its consumer appeal may be limited by its uncommon design, limited availability and price.
