Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19, Buckingham Palace announced on Sunday adding that she is experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms.”
The monarch is, however, expected to continue “light duties” at Windsor Castle over the week.
“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the palace announced in a statement.
Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth has received three jabs of COVID vaccine.
Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, recently tested positive for COVID-19.
