Police reacts to report of Imo House of Assembly being set on fire

Imo state police command has debunked report that the state house of assembly is being set on fire.

A video of an alleged fire at the state House of Assembly had gone viral on Sunday night, April 26 but Imo police spokesperson Orlando Ikeokwu said the building on fire was not the State House of Assembly nor any building in the area though confirmed that motorists were robbed in Orji area of Owerri, in an attack which left four persons with bullet injuries.

NEWSCASTARS.COM had earlier reported the robbery incident as Victims of the were taken to the Federal Medical Center, Owerri for treatment.
