Neymar makes Champions League history

Neymar has became the top-scoring Brazilian player in Champions League history as Paris Saint-Germain beat Liverpool 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Juan Bernat fired PSG in front at Parc des Princes, before Neymar doubled the home side’s advantage ten minutes before half-time.

The former Barcelona star’s scored his 31st in the competition which saw him become Brazil’s all-time leading goalscorer in the Champions League.

AC Milan legend Kaka previously held the record, having netted 30 times in the competition.
