Arsenal are ready to make an 11th hour move for Juventus striker, Alvaro Morata after their failed attempts to sign Dusan Vlahovic, who has joined Juventus.
AS reports that Mikel Arteta’s assistant, Miguel Molina, has even called Morata to convince him about the move.
Arsenal are looking very light in attack after loaning out Folarin Balogun, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Eddie Nketiah could also leave and they will be left with Alexandre Lacazette as the only senior striker for the rest of the season
The Premier League side are still trying to bring in a new forward before Monday night’s deadline and are attempting to pull off a complicated deal for Morata.
The Spaniard is currently on loan at Juventus from Atletico Madrid, but Vlahovic’s arrival means the Serie A giants would be prepared to terminate his loan.
