Minister of Foreign Affairs says no Nigerian living abroad have asked to be evacuated back home over Coronavirus

The Minister of Foreign Affair, Geoffery Onyeama, has denied report that Nigerian residing abroad have asked to be evacuated back home over Coronavirus pandemic.

 Speaking at the daily briefing of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 in Abuja on Tuesday March 31st., he said;

As of now, we do not have any request from any of the embassies from Nigerians wishing to be evacuated from various countries. But certainly, if we receive notification from any of our embassies, we will react accordingly”
