Manchester United seems to be back on their fit following defeat to Tottenham to beat Huddersfield, 2-0.
United had the breakthrough in the 55th minute, when Juan Mata fed Lukaku inside the box, and left unmarked, the big Belgian striker buried the ball in the bottom left corner.
That goal looked to have gingered United, as they began to carve out spaces in the Huddersfield defence and soon enough, it would pay off. Terriers defender Michael Hefele was penalized after bringing down Sanchez inside his own box, with the referee wasting no time in pointing to the spot.
Faced with goalkeeper Lossl, Sanchez directed his kick at the Dane, who did well to save, but failed to gather as the new Manchester United signing reacted quick enough to tap the rebound in. 2-0.
The win made Jose Mourinho’s men closed the gap on Manchester City to 13 points.
