Ace Nigerian Movie producer and director, Kemi Adetiba, has cleared the air on the production of a new Netflix movie, ‘Swallow’.
Taking to her Instagram page on Saturday, the producer stated that she has nothing to do with the production of the movie as she had earlier in the week, shared a flier for a Netflix movie ‘Swallow’ where she celebrated Kunle Afolayan as the producer and lead actor, Eniola Akinbo.
Sharing the picture of the movie, she said, “I’ve seen a few comments that suggest some might think I’m producing the new Kunle Afolayan movie Swallow, coming out on Netflix- October 1st. Or that I’m involved in some way because I promoted it on my page.
“Nothing could be farther from the truth. My post was simply a celebration of two people I admire and respect immensely, and pointing everyone to the service where they can watch, and the day it’ll be launched.
“It would be unfair for me to take the slightest credit (even by mistake) on a production I have absolutely nothing to do with.
“Nothing in my post led in this direction, but from some comments I’ve seen, and posts I’ve been tagged on, I felt it was important to make this clarification.
“Just like you all, I’m an excited viewer who cannot wait to see its launch October 1st.”
