Gombe gov. Dankwambo escapes attack, 2 official cars, FM station burnt

The governor of Gombe state, Ibrahim Dankwambo, has reportedly escaped dying as thugs have been stated to have attacked his convoy and set two automobiles ablaze.

The event was revealed by the director of media of the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) marketing campaign council within the state, Dahiru Kera, on Sunday, March three.

Kera stated the thugs attacked the governor’s convoy whereas he was on his approach from the airport.

In response to him, two automobiles within the entourage have been burnt.

The thugs additional attacked Lafiyawo group within the state and destroyed a personal radio station, Progress FM, situated alongside Gombe Airport street. Aside from these assaults, the thugs additionally burnt down eight outlets locally.

The report stated two automobiles have been burnt in Jekadafari quarters of the state capital.
