Oyo state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on Sunday have vowed to shut down fuel stations of members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, (IPMAN) who refuse to comply with the N165 pump price.
In South-West state fuel is being sold between N200 and N250 per litre, especially at night.
Addressing reporters on Sunday February 27, the State Commandant of NSCDC, Adarelewa Michael Akintayo saidsome marketers were taking undue advantage of the present fuel scarcity in the country to jerk up the pump price.
