Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has formally registered as a member of the Coalition For Nigeria Movement, the group he called for to help Nigeria overcome the challenges it is facing.
Obasanjo registered as a member of the coalition in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Thursday.
Obasanjo had called for the movement in his lengthy statement criticising the performance of President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration.
For Obasanjo, who likened the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party to “two evils”, the only way out for the country is a new movement.
A former PDP governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola said at the launch of the new movement that it was not a political party.
