Italy manager, Roberto Mancini, has reacted after his side thrash Turkey 3-0 in the opening match of the Euro 2020 on Friday night.
Merih Demiral’s own goal gave Mancini’s men the lead, before Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne added late goals.
Reacting, Mancini said after the match played at a Stadio Olimpic,
“It was important to start well in Rome and I think it is a satisfaction for the public and for Italians.
“It was a beautiful evening, I hope there are many others, but there are still six more for Wembley.
“We played a good match, even in the first half without being able to score. A great team. There was a lot of help from the crowd.”
