Edo election: PDP jubilates as Gov. Obaseki maintains lead

The Peoples Democratic Party are jubilating in its the Situation Room in Benin as its candidate, Godwin Obaseki, maintained the lead  in the Edo State Governorship Election, according to results announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Obaseki recorded more votes from the results of the 13 Local Governments declared so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The election was held in 18 Local Government Areas, 192 Wards, and 2,627 polling units.
