Champions League: Ancelotti hails Mbappe after Real Madrid’s 1-0 loss to PSG

Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has spoken on the performance of Kylian Mbappe after Paris Saint-Germain defeated Real Madrid 1-0 in the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday.

Mbappe has been linked to Real Madrid for several months now, with the France star refusing to sign a new contract last season.

Mbappe was arguably the best player on the pitch and even got to score a late winner that offered PSG a bigger chance to eliminate Real Madrid from the competition going into the second leg in Spain.

“Mbappe is virtually unstoppable, we tried to control him.

“Militao did very well but he can always come up with something new and he did it during the final minute of the game,” the Italian told reporters after the game.

He went on to add that, “I did tell the ref that he booked us with two yellow cards that weren’t clear.”
