Nigerian publisher, Betty Irabor has opened up on how she was discouraged when she wanted to start Genevieve Magazine.
She said despite being told most magazine fail, this didn’t stop her from trying and keeping at it even when things became tough.
She tweeted: “When I launched Genevieve in 2003, I was constantly reminded of d fatality rate & statistics of failed magazines. It unnerved me much but I became more determined to be 1 of d few that survived. See ehn, It doesn’t matter how many have failed b4 u. U may just be d game changer.”
