Barcelona striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has expressed his delight after scoring his first hattrick for the Catalan club in their LaLiga 4-1 win against Valencia on Sunday.
Aubameyang made a promise to teammate, Pedri after Barcelona defeated Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium, thanks to three goals from him and a goal from Frenkie de Jong.
Pedri looked to have scored the fourth goal from a distance for Barcelona against Valencia, but it was later awarded to Aubameyang.
Reacting, the 32-year-old wrote on his Instagram account wrote: “First LaLiga start – first hattrick. Incredible feeling and great team performance!! Special thanks to @pedrigonzalez for the assist. I promise I got your back next time.”
The Gabon captain joined Barcelona from Arsenal on the last day of the January transfer window after the Gunners terminated his contract.
