Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi said that the Super Eagles are determined not to leave Egypt with empty handed after failing to reach the final of the ongoing African Cup of Nations.
The three time African champions will take on the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia today.
“We still have one more game to play. We would like to end the competition on a high. We would like to go out with a win, “
“It hurts a lot to lose in the semifinal. We have a chance to put things right in the third placed game. Hopefully, we can use our anger to try and win the game.” Iwobi said
Nigeria has never lost a third place match in the history of the competition and will look to consolidate on the records against the Tunisians by 8 pm today, Nigerian time.
