Abia’s First Class King, Eze Benard Enweremadu is dead

An Abia First Class King and also the Traditional Head of Ngwaland (Ezeukwu of Ngwaukwu), Eze Benard Enweremadu has reportedly died.

His demise was contained in a statement issued at the deceased’s country home in Ahiaba Ngwaukwu Autonomous Community in Isialangwa North Local Government Area by the heir apparent and former Speaker of Abia House of Assembly Christopher Enweremadu on Saturday January 23 who said the monarch died on January 17.

Benard who was emerged ruler of Ezeukwu of Ukwu at the age of 33 spent 44 years on throne.

He was the deputy chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers in the old Imo and later became the Chairman of Abia Council of Traditional Rulers.
