She said her husband always talked about me at home. She then mentioned his name and added that if he ever contacts me, I shouldn’t respond. Meanwhile, they were married with three kids. I couldn’t even say anything; I was just amazed.”
On if she had ever found it difficult to get out of a character, she actress Known for playing feisty roles stated, “I used to find it difficult to get out of character. Whenever I played emotional roles, I always remembered my heartbreak experiences. That also happens if the story is related to something I had experienced. However, I have grown past that stage now. As soon as the director says ‘cut’, I come out of the character.”
The actress, however, insisted that the disadvantages of being an actress were more than the advantages. She said, “In everything, there are advantages and disadvantages. Being an actress has its good and bad sides. The opportunities we get, the love and attention both home and abroad are the advantages. Some people also give one gifts and money because they see one in movies and like one. However, the bad outweighs the good.
“As actors, society expects so much from us. They expect us to be perfect in everything we do. They fail to understand that we are also humans. They go on social media and lay curses on us for no reason. They abuse us and expect us not to reply because we are celebrities. Some also think (all) actresses are prostitutes. As a matter of fact, there are many disadvantages.”
